Christer had an irresistible smile, laugh and personality. He always wanted to liven any room that he came into and always sought to make sure that the people around him had everything that they needed to succeed. Christer thrived for a challenge and never took no for an answer.

In 2010 Christer suffered from a stroke and life for him and the people around him changed and became more challenging. Through ebbs and flows of learning this new life style, Christer still knew how to be the center of attention and continued to be attentive to the needs of the people he loved. Most of all he never took no for an answer and accepted all challenges thrown his way; he relearned to walk, learned how to speak without words and took up new hobbies such as painting.

In October 2021, Christer left us to go to a more beautiful place. In return, he left behind many laughs, many memories and most of all the reminder to never give up.
