This is a road race, no gravel asphalt only.
121km & 781m vertical.
The race will start and end in Lomma, the start line is just North of Lomma and the finish line is the bridge under the road as you enter Lomma.
Its a lovely course, starting in Lomma and running along the coast to Bjärred. After Bjärred we head inland and head around the top of Lund, the first section is a mixture of small quaint towns and scenic farmland. Just before Kävlinge we turn into some rolling hills, old farmhouses and the stunning Svenstorp Castle (built by the Danes in 1596).
Soon after Svenstorp we head into the Södra Sandby/Dalby area with the infamous Dalby hill (the first of the only 2 climbs in the race). The Dalby hill will be for the KoM classification, in order to be eligible for this you’ll have to record your ride on strava and we will compare the segment “Dalbyvägen”, fastest time on that section will be the KoM for that year! After the decent down the otherside of Dalby hill we will head towards Genarp and the Häckeberga Nature reserve, the nature reserve is hilly and contains the second climb of the race. The Nature reserve is a beautiful woodland and home to the famous Häckeberga Slott, a nice spot for a photo if you're warm enough.
After the Häckeberga loop we'll head towards the coast on the way we'll head through Bokskogen and past the final castle of the day Torups Slott, a few small rolling hills through Swedens only remaining Beech Forest and back into some of that lovely Skåne farmland.
We head North now to Hjärup (home of one of the event organisers) once through Hjärup we are into the final few KMs, heading straight for the coast, Lomma and a hot meal. The finish line is under the highway bridge. Don’t race beyond this point, take it easy.
